Figured I'd make a post since I do still check this thing every day even if I don't really post on it anymore. The school semester is about done. I just have one class left (my communications ethics final) and I'm done for this term.
I have finished a shitload of writing. My main project was my screenwriting classes where I did one 90 page script and another 36 page script. The bigger one was a full length feature and I limped to the 90 page mark. You have no idea how much movies are filled with filler just to get to the standard 120 pages. I kept my minimum and after I revise it again, I'll submit it to the WGA to register it.
I took Intro to Creative writing this term and my professor was a total hipster. But she did something I didn't think was possible and that was getting me interested in poetry. So I have a few poems that I've written and I'll be writing some more. Now here's a question I have for you my loyal friends.
Since anyone can self publish with Amazon and stuff, would anyone be interested in a Best of volume 1 of The Rant Of The Week? I think I have over 200 give or take columns I could choose through to compile enough for a book. It could be an interesting look back at the Post attitude era of wrestling.
I mean honestly if I made it you could use the book for a door stop or to fix a wobbly table for all I care. But that's still a lot of work to compile and I'd probably have to write a new chapter or two to book end it and update some thoughts and stuff. So if there's a genuine interest I'll do it.
I'm also considering putting out a small book of said poetry just so I can add poet to my growing list of titles. Poet seems to impress people.
So if you're on Facebook you should really look me up there. But yeah that's about it for the most part for me. I have a very boring life. The only other thing I plan on doing this summer is attempting to lose a chunk of weight. I'm getting tired of being sick and tired. I have a plan to walk at least a mile once every other day or so. I'm looking to also get a new bike because I miss being able to do my speed and endurance tests. I broke 20 miles in under 55 minutes last year. Then the damn bike had to go and break and I've been back to where I am.

For those of you who don't bug me on Facebook and still cling to Livejournal I figure I might as well use this thing for once.
Anyway some sad news that you probably saw coming judging by my lack of output. I am officially done writing rasslin columns on a fulltime or even part time basis. I just don't have the passion or even will to do it anymore. It takes me too long to do a full blown column and I just don't have the time nor energy to dedicate to that anymore. The Rant Of The Week had a good run. 1999ish to 2012. To my knowledge I outlasted a lot of "IWC superstars". Of course having a life where I venture outside my home so my 30's aren't the bust my 20's were was a deciding factor.
This term is gonna be busy as hell with school. I have to do a full draft of my script by the end of the term in where I have to add like 40-50 more pages of content.
I'm also taking an adaptation class where I have to do two mini scripts.
I also signed up for a creative writing class so who knows maybe I'll start doing poems and shit. Other then that not much is going on. Just super busy with school. Thankfully most of my classes are afternoon so I won't be as fried as I was last term.
I'm all geared up for the Super Bowl tomorrow. Brady is going down and then again and again and again. Big Blue is gonna roll all over him.
So yeah I guess that's it for now. I'll still use this to post shit and bitch about stuff.

Finally have a new column up after being burned out for a while. Topic is on TNA and Bobby Roode beating James Storm for the TNA World title. Also talk about Garrett Bischoff and how another power struggle is what TNA thinks the kids want to see.
It took me too long to do this one so the least you can do it read it so I know I'm not wasting my time.

I don't plan on dying, but if I must I'd like to be buried somewhere above ground. I'm kinda claustrophobic about the whole under ground thing.
If I make it another sixty years or so, there probably won't be many new cemeteries around anyway so the only choices really will be cremation or a mausoleum. I have no intention of being cremated.

Yes I still do browse this thing most of the time, but I rarely post unless I'm shilling something. So for those of you who care here's an update on my sad life.
I've been back in school at Brooklyn College for the past year. If I did mention it before you should know by now my memory is horrible. Anyway I'm studying Film-Screen writing and oddly enough it's not the film classes that are burning me out. It's all the other classes I have to take that are. Last term is was a Modern Philosophy class I signed up for. This term is Biology. I feel like I'm right back in the 10th grade again. Though back in 1996 I don't remember doing half this stuff.
The screen writing class is us watching films and talking about it so far along with working on all the stuff to lead up to writing a first act of a script. I have 2 ideas that I have to choose between. One is a horror/thriller and the other I guess a romantic comedy or but instead of being from a Woman's perspective its from a guys.
Other then that not much going on. Just me being the usual burn out that I am.
